I just got fired.

I don’t have a job anymore.

Technically my job remains unchanged, weirdly – I worked for FHM as a Freelance Writer, and they kept me on retainer in exchange for some money for a year, or so. Not, like, a whole bunch of money, but some. And now they’re not. Which is a shame, but there you go.

So I’m still a Freelance Writer; in fact, I’m more of a Freelance Writer than I ever was, on account of having to actively look for work rather than just sit at home, eat toast, and occasionally knock out three hundred words about a game trailer.

Which means, hopefully, that LookRobot will be a bit busier now – and by “a bit busier” I mean “not an embarrassment on account of only having three updates wot I did last year on it.” I’m going to do my level best to stay in this awesome industry, hang out with the wonderful people I’ve met, and continue to never pay for a game as long as I can help it.

If you’re at all interested in hiring an incredibly red-haired writer who is also pretty good (you’ll note that there are a bare minimum of spelling mistakes in this UNSUBBED text that I wrote IN WORDPAD whilst WEEPING) then, you know, get in touch.

If you’re not, then enjoy the blog, I guess.
